There
are many ways to comfort and love a child. Sewing for a child
is a true gift from the heart.
In just one Phoenix school district with an enrollment
of 2500 children, 95% live in poverty. Many have never had a
dress, let alone a new one. Enabling a child to go to school
looking and feeling good bolsters self-esteem beyond measure.
People who support this project by sewing one dress for
one child do make a difference. Everyone knows
how quickly children grow and how difficult it must be to get
by without funds for even the most basic clothing needs.
