What do the girls say?

The following quotations are from letters written by families that have received clothing made by One Dress at a Time volunteers:

“The mother of [the girl] would like to thank you for the beautiful dress that you made & we thank you from the bottom of our heart.” (signed by mother and daughter)

“I wanted to THANK YOU very much for the Easter dress you gave to my daughter. The dress was beaustifully made and fit like it was made just for [her]. If there is a way to Thank the ladies that took the time to make this dress, then Please do so for me.”

And from the girls themselves (click any image to enlarge):

Some take advantage of lined paper:

Dear Mrs. Pugliano, Thank you for the Valentine Outfit. It is nice. I love the Purse. It's a cute outfit. Thank you again. <signature>

Some prefer free expression:

Thank you for the dress. I love it. <signature>

Some may be sewing these dresses themselves when older:

To United Way: Thank you for the outfit. <signature> Age 5

Or adding decoration to dresses made by others:

Thank you for my dress. It was pretty. I put it on for church. <signature>

And to some, the dressmaker remains cloaked in mystery:

Dear Santa: Thank you for bring us toys. I love you Santa. I like my dress. <signature>
